Critical Carbohydrate Level for Maintenance (CCLM)

In the Atkins diet, the Critical Carbohydrate Level for Maintenance (CCLM) is the number of grams of carbohydrate a day a person can consume without gaining weight. Finding ones CCLM is one of the main activities of the Pre-Maintenance phase of Atkins. To find your CCLM, increase the number of daily grams of carbohydrate consumed by 10 grams each week until your weight begins to increase. Then back off 10 grams. This is your CCLM,
