I have been on Atkins for several weeks now but I am still unable to turn my ketostix a darker purple. Could it be because I am sneaking the odd potato here and there?

Am I in the minority that feels Atkins products are fantastic. Once past the induction phase, those breakfast bars, ice cream and especially those ice-cream bars on a stick are all a person needs to get through the day.

How bad can one glass of orange juice be? I mean, come on, one glass! Just one, tiny, little, delicious glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Hmm. I think I'll go and pour one for myself *right now*!

I think you can get into a situation where you weight yourself "too much" and start to worry when you are 0.0000000001 pounds heavier than 5 minutes ago. Take it easy, relax and eat healthy. That's the key to losing weight.

I've been following Atkins for a really long time. How do you know when to lighten up a little? I haven't had a piece of bread in 4 years. Should I start with croutons?

After years of Atkins dieting and doing somewhat well, stress has driven me right back to my old ways. Should I just go back to an all protein diet and take control again? I feel if I have a lot of protein in the house, I'll only snack on that during a stressful moment.

Can someone explain the labels on foods and how to determine net carbs? What do sugars and alcohol and all those do to cut the carb count?

I have recently started the diet and going on my second week. Ive lost around 7 lbs so far. I usually drink on the weekends. I havent had a drink since I started the diet. Does anyone know of an alcohol beverage that will not stop the process of ketosis?

ok, i have been on atkins for 2 years, and have had great sucess. the last two months i have been increasing the ammount of carbs i eat, for some odd reason. i ate candy about a month ago and now i wake up in the middle of the night to eat a LOT of candy. i cant seem to stop myself. i mean, i seriously have not ate any sugar for 2 years, and then BAM!! i ate some and cant seem to stop. i have slowly been gaining weight, and feel so horrible and depressed. I will do gerat during the day, but as soon as i sleep for a while, i just cant seem to remember my diet. I havent eaten bread, or flour type things,just candy. anyone ever struggle with this also? i guess maybe i need to start all over again

I only want to loose 12 lbs. So far after 2 1/2 weeks I have lost only 5. Haven't cheated once and have eaten only from the allowed foods list. When using Ketostix I have never gone above the negative range......what could I possibly be doing wrong...I read every label...measure every thing and still have no measurable results......Any suggestions and has this happened to anyone else? I would appreciate your comments.
